Vol. 10 No. 1 (2024): January-December
Revista Produção e Desenvolvimento, also known as RPD, presents Pedro Chévez and Graciela Viegas as guest editors of the dossier "Energy and climate: their impact on the built environment and the industrial productive complex". The call began on August 2023 and closed with the publication of seven articles on 14/12/2024. This edition incorporates contributions that aim to reduce dependence on fossil fuels through the implementation of energy efficiency measures, the use of renewable energy sources (solar and wind) and the assessment of the impact of climate change on the built environment. In this sense, we received papers with diverse and rich methodological approaches, ranging from qualitative methods that deal with case studies or social meanings of renewable energies; to quantitative methods that use physical or mathematical models, dynamic simulations and in situ measurements. We are grateful for the participation and enthusiasm of the authors. We hope that the articles will be of interest to readers and that they will be disseminated and discussed by colleagues in the region.
