Dossier: Cities construction
Evaluation, Public Management & Development
Revista Produção e Desenvolvimento (also called Research in Production and development or, simply, RPD) is an open-access, peer- reviewed international journal dedicated to publish original research papers, referring to management dimensions, privileging the interdisciplinary research of high impact and interest. RPD spreads researches that study business decision making and/or government policy for developing the cities. The journal is cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary and eclectic, and contributions are welcome across a wide range of research methodologies (e.g., theoretical or empirical, using either quantitative or qualitative methods) and topics.
RPD receives articles that consider relevant topics for novel contributions to the theoretical discussion through empirical works and the discussion of their results. RPD does not accept essays that exclusively propose a theoretical discussion or that present results without analyzing them, nor does it accept works of exclusively local scope. Each manuscript is subject to a preliminary review and will be rejected if it does not comply with some of the factors indicated in the section Peer review process. Before submitting a manuscript to the journal, it is suggested to review the indications about preliminary review.
It is edited by the "Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca", a Brazilian public university also called CEFET / RJ.
