Abstract

Purpose: this study aims to carry out an ergonomic analysis of the work (AET) of gas station attendants in a municipality in Pará, considering the work environment from their point of view, providing them with the confidence to perform their role. Methodology: ergonomics adapts work to man, making possible ergonomic risks with workers visible. In the case of the research explored in this work, gas stations are mentioned. To consolidate the research, an approach with the qualitative and exploratory research method was used, with forms being applied to 10 collaborators, from different stations in the region, with semi-structured questions. Results: gas station attendants of both sexes, aged between 18 and 39 years old, were analyzed, analyzing that the work environment does not have an eye on the employee's well-being, with bottlenecks in relation to employees, with a good part of them having excessive workloads. A lack of knowledge about the possible future risks caused by the profession was noticed, and there were also deviations in functions. Research Limitations: the study not cover all workers at the studied gas stations. Originality:   the lack of compliance with Regulatory Standard 17  highlights the importance of applying similar studies in other regions.

Alessandra do Nascimento Santana Inacio, Universidade Federal do Sul e Sudeste do Pará

Graduated in Production Engineering from the State University of Pará (2013). Specialization in Higher Education Teaching (2022). Master's Degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (2023). Specialization in Production Engineering in progress. She works as an Administration Technician at the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará, on the Xinguara-PA campus. His professional experience includes the area of Quality Management and Operations Management, with emphasis on the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems and Tools.

Anaísa Duarte de Oliveira, Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará

Anaísa has a degree in Business Management from the University of Amazônia (2007), a degree in Administration from the International Association of Continuing Education (2011) and a degree in Literature from Centro Universitário Internacional (2017). She is currently an administrator at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará.

Jéssica has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2010), a degree in Administration from the University for the Development of the State and the Pantanal Region (2011) and a professional master's degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation from the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará (2022).

Master's Degree in Literature: Teaching Language and Literature from the Federal University of Tocantins - UFT. Specialist in Strategic People Management from the State University of Piauí - UESPI and in Archival Science from Faculdade Dom Alberto - FDA. Graduated in Library Science from the State University of Piauí - UESPI. She is currently a Librarian-Documentalist at the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará-UNIFESSPA. She has experience in the area of Information Science, with an emphasis on Library Science, working mainly on the following topics: public policies for books, reading and library, production, circulation and mediation of information.
