Abstract

This essay is a brief presentation of Martin Heidegger, based on short notes that represent an incursion into his life and academic-philosophical formation. An overview of the main axes of the work Ser e Tempo was highlighted in the studies by Paul Gorner (2017), with the aim of proposing some keys for reading Heideguerian thinking. Therefore, the concept of death is presented, starting with paragraphs 52 and 53 of Being and Time. This essay takes into account the readings developed in the extension course: Philosophers and Fear of Death, organized by Dr. Francisco de Moraes, from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro.
