Abstract

In this article we report the workshop offered at the Seminar “Education and transdisciplinarity in decolonial thinking” and whose objective was to bring people participating in a list of African and Afro-descendent philosophers up to date who, if read deconstructively, make it possible to appeal the wreck of impacts of racist discourse in Brazilian Basic Education, with the perspective of overcoming it as a promise, in a philosophical intervention that observes the recognition and equal appreciation of the African roots of the Brazilian nation, alongside the indigenous, European and Asian.
